Hello, everyone.  We are looking forward to seeing everyone again after the long summer break.

Our first meeting for 2015-2016 will be held on Sunday, September 27 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Joseph Room of the St. Gertrude Parish Center.  Please note the location change.  Unfortunately, we are unable to host this meeting at our home this year as we are in the midst of remodeling our bathroom.  Pray for us!

The guest speaker for this meeting is Br. Peduru Fonseka, OSB.  Br. Peduru’s topic is “A Call Within; Understanding Oblation as a Vocation.”

As I was looking through my oblate folder, I came across the attached sheet regarding “Indulgences for Oblates.”  It was an interesting reminder for me, and I thought you might appreciate it, too.  The new year will be here before you know it, and you might want to add these dates to your 2016 calendar.

In memory of our fellow oblate and friend Bernard Kenney of Georgetown, OH, who entered into eternal rest July 12, 2015.

May he rest in peace.
