The November meeting will be held on Sunday, November 20, at 2:00 p.m. Please note that this meeting will be held in the St. Gertrude School cafeteria rather than the parish center, as it will be in use for a parish-related activity at this time.
Our guest speaker, Br. Simon Herrmann, OSB, will address the topic “A Growing ‘Yes’ to Monastic Life.” On the reverse side you will find a Prayer for All Deceased Oblates of the Chapter. Please bring this with you to the meeting next Sunday; we will pray this prayer for the deceased members of our chapter.
The December 9-11 oblate retreat at Saint Meinrad features Fr. Adrian Burke, OSB. The topic of the retreat is: “Descending God, Rising Lord, Ascending Christ — Incarnation and the New Creation.” For reservations, please call 1-800-581-6905 . As there is no meeting next month due to the December oblate retreat at Saint Meinrad, I take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving, a Blessed Christmas, and a Happy New Year.
The January meeting will be held January 22, 2017. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
